IFAC

6th IFAC Symposium on Telematics Applications, TA'2022

June 15-17th, 2022 – Nancy, France

Invited sessions

  • Telematics Digital Twins Applications (Session code: 38vnh)
    Organizers: William Derigent, University of Lorraine, France (william.derigent (at) univ-lorraine.fr), Nathalie Julien, University of Bretagne Sud, France (nathalie.julie (at) @univ-ubs.fr), Michaël David, University of Lorraine, France (michael.david (at) univ-lorraine.fr)

    While the notion of the Digital Twin in itself is still not clearly defined, the idea has sparked interest across multiple domains (networking, logistics, manufacturing, construction, etc.) leading to several projects involving academia and industry all around the world. As a result, this session aims at bringing together multiple actors working on this concept in order to focus on the relation between Telematics and Digital Twinning. The expected works may concern one and/or the other of these categories:
    • Digital Twin of Telematics: modeling and virtualizing telecommunication technologies (IoT, WSN...) for the simulation, the optimization and the control of the telecommunication architecture;
    • Telematics for Digital Twin: using telecommunication technologies to setup and update the Digital Twin of a system. Innovative sensing technologies (battery-free sensors, long-range sensing) and computing (cloud, edge, fog computing) technologies are of prime interest.

Researchers who would like to organise one or more Invited Sessions on topics falling within the scope of the conference are invited to submit a proposal for consideration. This should include: the title of the session, a copy of the session abstract as well as individual paper abstracts from each of the proposed participants. Through the submission website, please submit an invited session proposal.
An invited session identification code will be communicated to the corresponding proposer and should be used by the prospective contributors.
